These dress and skirt are inspired by Hokusai's The WAVE.

We have this painting in shirt/skirt/leggings/kimono in the shop, usually it's white with part of wave painting, the painting was hand printed. This time, we printed the fabric directly so the painting could be on all the clothes. To get the bright and clear color, we've tried different fabric and this is the best result for now. Personally, Comparing to other Wave painting clothes in the shop, I'd say this fabric is not as good as other clothes (others are mainly white so we can choose very soft and great quality ones), this one is mixed with polyester and a linen, so not as soft and thick as others, but the print looks better. So if you choose these dress or skirt, please make sure that you really love this painting. Also, when we made sample dress/skirt and found out if we add inner layer the style not stay so good. So the dress and skirt are one layer, not thick, it's good to wear in summer.

I ordered to make this printed fabric for basic quantity just to try to make some pieces, again, they have nice color and the fabric is ok (personally I think it's not as perfect as other clothes in the shop, that's why even this wave skirt has full print, the price is lower than the white wave printed skirt). So hopefully in the future I can try out better ones with same print effect.
